WELLZEST
Privacy Policy
How we handle personal information.
Last updated: November 5, 2026
WellZest creates media, experiences, and rituals centered on living well. This Privacy Policy explains the information that may be collected when you visit our website, sign up for our updates, inquire about an experience, or otherwise interact with WellZest, and the choices available to you.
1. Who this policy covers
“WellZest,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of wellzest.com and its WellZest-branded online services. This notice covers our website, newsletter signups, inquiries, ritual access requests, product waitlists, and event or partnership inquiries handled through this site. A third-party platform, merchant, or service provider may publish its own privacy notice for features it operates independently.
For privacy questions or to submit a rights request, use the WellZest contact form and select Privacy & Data Request. Include the email address associated with your request. Do not submit sensitive medical records or identity documents through the general contact form.
2. Information we collect
The information depends on the feature you use. A visitor who reads an article supplies less information than someone who submits an inquiry or enrolls in an experience.
| Category | Examples and source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Contact and identifiers | Name, email address, and contact details you submit through forms or correspondence. | Respond to messages, deliver requested newsletters or ritual access, maintain signup lists, and provide updates you request. |
| Inquiry and preference details | Topics you select, your organization, team size, city, event details, and information you voluntarily provide. | Handle partnerships, group programming, experiences, and inquiries, and tailor responses to the request. |
| Technical and usage information | IP address, browser and device characteristics, referral pages, approximate location inferred from IP, and access or diagnostic logs that hosting and content providers may process. | Deliver pages, maintain security, identify faults, and understand site operations. |
| Media and third-party interaction data | Information collected when you load third-party content, including embedded video, off-site links, externally hosted images, and social platforms. | Display media and enable access to external resources. Third parties may operate under their own policies. |
| Transaction and participation information, if a purchase or event registration is offered | Order or booking details, attendance and service preferences, and records furnished by a checkout or registration provider. | Fulfill transactions or experiences, resolve service issues, and maintain appropriate accounting and business records. |
Our current general-purpose website forms ask primarily for contact and inquiry information. If you voluntarily share information about your health or well-being in free-text fields, we may receive it, but these forms are not intended to collect detailed medical records, diagnoses, or emergency information. Dedicated health-advisor services, if introduced, require a separate assessment of data flows and any service-specific disclosures before launch.
3. How we use information
We use information to perform the service or communication you request; send newsletters when you subscribe; provide event, ritual, and product updates you ask to receive; answer customer-service or partnership inquiries; detect misuse and secure the site; maintain business and legal records; and comply with lawful obligations. We do not treat an ordinary contact inquiry as permission to enroll you in unrelated marketing.
We may aggregate or de-identify information for planning and site improvement, provided the resulting information cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual. We do not use contact-form entries to determine eligibility for medical treatment, insurance, credit, or employment.
4. Email and communication choices
When you subscribe to The Scoop or request product or ritual updates, we may send the related email communications. Messages may include an unsubscribe link or another way to withdraw consent. You may also request removal through our contact form. Operational messages about an inquiry, purchase, or event may still be sent when necessary to provide a requested service.
We do not knowingly purchase mailing lists for indiscriminate bulk email. Marketing messages are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
5. When information is disclosed
We may disclose the information needed for a service to hosting and form-processing providers, email-delivery tools, payment or event-registration services if those features are offered, professional advisers who have confidentiality obligations, and service providers engaged to support our operations. For this static website, Netlify may process form submissions and hosting information; external media and content providers may receive technical information when their resources load.
We may also disclose information to comply with legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or in connection with an actual corporate transaction, subject to applicable notice and legal requirements. We do not authorize service providers to use form submissions for their unrelated marketing.
Some third-party sites and embeds, including YouTube and social platforms, control their own collection practices. Your interactions with them are governed by their separate policies.
7. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to WellZest, you may have the right to request access to information about you, request a copy, ask for correction or deletion, withdraw marketing consent, object to or restrict certain processing, and exercise opt-out rights regarding a sale or sharing of personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or contact a privacy regulator.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, where its applicability requirements are met. These may include rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising rights. We will evaluate requests under the laws that apply to us, verify identity where required, and explain the outcome or any lawful exception.
How to make a request: Visit Contact WellZest, choose Privacy & Data Request, and describe the request. We may need enough information to confirm the relevant record without collecting unnecessary sensitive data. Authorized-agent requests may require evidence of authorization under applicable law.
If you live in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable data rights, you may also ask about access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent where applicable. You may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

8. Legal bases for processing where required
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we generally process information to perform a contract or precontractual request (such as an inquiry or registration); with consent (such as elective marketing); for legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (such as basic site operation, security, and service improvement); or to comply with legal duties. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting lawful processing that occurred before withdrawal.
9. Retention and security
We aim to keep information for the time reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Contact and partnership inquiries are generally reviewed for deletion when no longer needed for follow-up or an ongoing relationship. Newsletter information is kept while your subscription remains active, with limited suppression or compliance records after unsubscribing when needed to honor your request. Transaction and event records may be retained longer for accounting, taxes, refunds, disputes, and applicable legal periods. We may preserve information when an active legal obligation, dispute, security investigation, or legitimate recordkeeping need applies.
The final retention schedule depends on the systems used for email, event registration, payments, and form management. We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Any legally required breach notification will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
10. Children and age-related protections
WellZest’s general website and signup forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through these forms. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, they may contact us to request review and deletion. Programs that specifically involve minors must provide their own eligibility and consent information.
11. International visitors
WellZest operates in the United States, and information submitted through the site may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws and safeguards vary by location. Where required, we will use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and provide additional jurisdiction-specific information.
12. Updates and contact
We may revise this policy as the website and our services change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. The version displayed here governs our stated practices as of its effective date.
For questions, requests, or concerns, use Contact WellZest and select Privacy & Data Request.
